Day 1
Wake up early in the morning to get ready and did last minute checking before we set out way to Yi Chang .
We left our hostel and set our journey at around 11.20a.m.
The bus journey was the longest journey I had in my life, longer than my trip to school.
The most I merely take about 1 and a half hour to travel to Ngee Ann Polytechnic from SengKang.
To me, the bus journey to school is very long and tiring already.
So, I don't really can endure the bus journey especially the bulky road here.
On top of it, I have noticed that the Express Way here doesn’t have any traffic lights, mainly signs asking the drivers to stay awake .
Other familar and similar signs that can also be seen in Singapore are no overloading as well as no driving after drinking signs too.
We took nearly 4 and half hour of bus journey to YiChang, there was only a toliet break in between when the bus driver drove us to the resting area for the drivers as well as passengers.
So in my heart, I really admired the local drivers here who can endure and drive the passengers to their destination safety despite not feeling tired and complaining.
On our way to YiChang, I get the opportunity to see their typical locals way of living and their lifestyle from the bus window.
Most of them are farmers and they own plots of lands to do farming which we can't see in Singapore now.
All their houses are few kilometers away from their neighbours depending on their size of land.
In additional, I also spot some buffalos doing work and hens running around the land.
From what I have observed and understood, their way of living are simple and not so stressful like us.
Our lunch
We had our scrumptious lunch at one of the local restaurant nearby after we have reached.
For lunch,We had about 10 main dishes and 1pot of soup .
To me, the dishes tasted delicious and was acceptable although some of the dishes I dislike.
I still prefer Singapore foods, not so oily, spicy and salty

Some of the dishes:

The claypot duck soup.

Our 3 Days 2 Nights tour officially begins after we boarded the cruise known as Ying Yue Liang.
The 4 star cruise was not so beautiful and fully equipped compare to Singapore cruise but at least they provide the basic facilities.
They don't offer much entertainment here and have no swimming pool in the cruise.
Inside the cruise

This is my room sharing with Yankhee.
All of us occupied the 4 storeys.
The common pathway in the cruise
Our bed

The waredrobe in our room
Fortunately, there is a toliet in our room and we don't have to use the common toliet.
I was so relieved when I see that.
I couldn't stop snapping pictures once I was at the roof top.
The scenery was awesome as well as breathtaking , we merely get to see buildings and buildings back in Singapore.
The famous bridge

I found it interesting and hard to believe that I actually had the opportunity to witness it.

The side view

Wide open in the beginning

Closing slowly in process, everyone was busy snapping and taking pictures of it.

Finally closed, it took about 45 minutes to close if I didn't forget.
The water rose too, the differences can be clearly seen in the pictures provided below.
The photos I have taken :

On the later part of our night:

We gathered at one of the rooms chatting with our tour guide.
Her surname was Cheng ,21 years old this year and she has just completed her university.
She was friendly and we had a sort of exchanging culutures sessions.
She also shared with us how much she earned.
Her basic pay was only 500 yuan and extra earning will depend on how many trips she brings per month.
From her, I also get to know that their local children start their primary school at the age of 6 while singapore children start school at the age of 7.
On top of it, they need at at least 9 years of compulsory schooling while we need 10 years of compulsory schooling.
Definitely, there are some differences in our education system.
I also get to know that their one child policy still exist due to their huge population.
However, couples with higher education qualification can apply and request to have two children.
Now I felt I am more wise as I have gained so many knowledge that I couldn't find in textbook. Moreover, I'm a person who hardly read newspaper.
