Day 39 : SiMenKou and Hankou
Together with Mr Wee, we make our way to the China Bank located behind our school in the morning.
Everyone was as a poor as a church mouse after splurging so much for the past 38 days.
We glowed with delight as Mr Wee distributed money to us after he withdraw from the atm machine.
The feeling of becoming loaded once again was great!
We had our breakfast at Macdonald and I think it will be the last time we had before heading back to Singapore.
After breakfast, I went to the one of the salons next to the Macdonald to get my hair trimed as my fringe was blocking my views and irritate my eyes.
I have been wanting to cut my hair since last week but something just bothered and worried me. Thus, I was hesitant to move my first step and entering the hair salon.
Furthermore, I have phobia of having haircut due to the unpleasant experienced I encountered in Singapore.
The little hero in me stood out and guide me to the hair salon with Xiu Jin.
I spent a couple of 20 minutes resting and having my hair washed at the second storey.
I have no idea why it took such a long time but I only found that the local hairdresser was extremely gentle and patience.
I immediatey had my hair cut before my hair was dry .
Of course! I was stunned and had urge of crying.
The hairdresser didn't even comb my hair neatly before he start cutting and trimming.
Without wearing my glasses, I closed both my eyes tight yet with fears throughout.
Trains of thoughts were running in my mind at that moment.
I was waiting impatiently for my haircut to be done.
My haircut turn out to be acceptable in the end.
At least, I left the hair salon with a light heart.
We took a cab back to our hostel as we were rushing for time.
Headed to SiMenKou and Hankou for the one last time for shopping, despite the rain.
We went to fill up our stomach with food right after we reached.
I tried the cold egg tart today and I simply fall in love with it.
Furthermore, the cold egg tart was something new to me.
Hit all the shops along the street after our lunch.
For the next few hours, we didn't slow down our paces and barely rest our legs.
Right in our mind was the consistent thought of thinking to make full of the time to shop.
The 50% sales over at basement of Metersbown pull our attention and delay the time we had our dinner.
The crazy sales flaunt our Singaporean behaviour I guessed.
We grabbed and bought the shirts at a steal price.
Headed to dicos resturant for dinner before we returned to our hostel.
